I am changing the chainwheel on my 07 Floval Flyer and just wanted to be sure of the spindle size - I think it is a 19mm but just want to confirm before I buy anything.

Does spindle size matter when buying a chainwheel? I know it does when buying a BB. I haven't seen an option on spindle size when buying a chainwheel. Don't most come with adapters and such?

Yes, it is a 19mm spindle.

It does matter when it is a "Snap" chainwheel as they are machined directly for the size of the spindle and do not use the standard spacers like most brands.

The spindle is 19mm, but the stock sprocket is not. It has an insert to space it down to 19mm.

I bought a redline sprocket to go up a size and it is 19mm - fits perfectly on the spindle, but need to get a couple spaces to move it out for chain alignment.

I thought the se one was 20mm? I know for a fact the redline one is 19mm.

The SNAP 19mm chainwheel fit perfectly.

I think you are right because I was asking Ed at coloredtuffs about getting his profile hop-up BB kit and he said it would not work with my SE spindle as the spindle was about 1mm too big.
