My mom and brother are digging up some cool os things!!!
TeamRob
One man's junk. I see a coule treasures! Very nice, not to mention the memories they are bringing back for you! Good foresight, or else you are a pack rat just by design! Either way, glad you held on to these items.
BenOr
Looks like a DG Skibel, DG Superpro, Dg Forks, Powerlite forks, FMF bars, DG Mini (or maybe ful size) alloy bars, Cook Bars, Dura Ace cranks, DX Pedals and a pile of magazines with Dennis Dain.

Very nice that these were saved. Is that single stem the Webco Ashtabula kind with the gusset? Trick drilled out caliper brake.
PJR

Don't know Ben you definitely know your stuff tell me please. helixbmx has these pedals as his avatar and I asked him what they were (Bob Heely ultimate pro pedals) and then I remembered it's all coming back now. Also check out the drilled out Dura Ace cranks. The brakes and cranks were in the Skibel. Trying to figure what the red gooseneck is can't find anything on it.
BenOr
Red stem is a Suntour and nothing special. Light and generic.

Do you have both "Bob Reedy" pedals? Those are nice and what "Helix" modeled after.

If it were me, I'd take both frame and the forks to a polishers and have them profesionally cleaned and buffed. Add decals and hang them up. Maybe build them, but take your time and find all the parts.

Does that BMX newspaper have a Aug 1978 Pro race in the LA Colisuem?
PJR
I have 3 of these papers 2 from 79 and 1 from 80.
sorry!! The other pedal is at my brothers we have to dig it out who knows what els we'll find. still have 3 or 4 sets of cages
The Red Baron
