Did some quick cleanup on this survivor the other night. Actually have had the bike for a while, just not together.
I don't think the rear wheel was ever removed from this bike. If it was it was meticulously put back in the original bolt positions. Anyhow...thought i'd post it since its a pretty clean survivor. I'll likely be stickin it back on ebay soon since i'm trying to thin out the herd a little.

Looks great Keith. Now take some soft scrub with bleach and a brillo pad to them rim walls.

I like the red. Is that a 4130 model, or is it a later tri-moly model?

1987 is the first year of the trimoly Performer frames from GT.

My buddy had a Magenta one and it looked quite a bit different. However, that was 20 years ago. I remember it resembling the 86 lavender more than straight up red.

rim cleaning will be done by the bikes new owner.
