I'm starting to think that they never came in Purple???
Anyone??

That purple is the original color. It's probably worth more than the $15 you paid. smile.gif

REALLY??
I looked on Vintagemongoose.com and found nothing about purple mongooses of any kind.
Just wondering what makes you so sure.
It would be pretty cool if it was the org. color for sure.
I think I would like to change the tuff to white though.
Dave Muggleston
I sold a chrome M1 on eBay a year ago for $71.00. And it didn't have Tuffs. I'd say you got a pretty good score.

Motor City Mongoose
According to the `85 catalog, they only came in chrome or white. The color "Luscious Lavender" was not available until `86, and it was only on the FS-1, which was Mongooses first freestyle bike. Tuff's were not a factory option in `85.
