Look what my good friend Clothespin'n scouted out for me at his LBS. A rarely-seen 1988 Peregrine B1-XT!! Pristine survivor condition.

Any info on this beauty would be excellent, so please chime in with anything you may know about this bike.

Have to give a public shout out to Kev for hooking me up. Thanks bro! biggrin.gif

Cheers, and enjoy!

WOW WOW WOW !!!!!!!!!

I LOVED those frames back in the day....
my best friend rode a blue and chrome one forever!
He was an amazing flatlander too.

Sweet find!!!

That is SO cool of Kev to hook you up with that bike!

Now you just need a set of Q bars and an ACS slant 55 stem.. it will look amazing.

The length and geometry are very similar to the 87-88 Haro Sport.

It is indeed. But based on the info that Timo posted, this is not a B1 but rather a B1XT. That's assuming that the Peregrine cranks on this are original, of course. The only difference between the B1 & B1XT is that the XT came with upgraded components, much the same as a Haro Sport/Team Sport.

I'll be sure to post pictures as I build this up.

Cheers all!

Greg

Funny, I only barely remember this bike from BITD. I always think of Peregrine as a components company. And for some reason, they're connected with Redline in my head, though I know their components cam stock on a number of different bikes. Anyway, cool find!

I remember that bike well. Always thought they were strange because of the ovalized top tube.
