Full Version: 1988 (?) Mach One Cleanup

This Mach One was dirty and crusty, with some missing paint, silly steel brakes and Boss cruiser bars. After a few hours of work, a couple spare parts, plenty of cleaning products, some grease and a few squirts of black spray paint, I now have a pretty cool rider!

(These are the before photos, and it was worse in person than in the pix!)

bike saved!

That's exactly how I look at it. The guy's wife told me she had been trying to toss the bike in the trash for a year. Luckily, he didn't let her. They got some $$$ from me, I got a cool bike from them, and it's one more saved from the scrapyard.

Nice save! Amazing what a little cleaning and touch-up will do to a bike.

I'd track down a GT pad set for that baby and call it a day!
