I have heard great things about Kenda tires so I am giving them a try. Any suggestions for 1.75" back and 1.95" front race tires from Kenda? Kontact? K-rad? etc... Thanks

I heard the small block tires are good.

The small blocks are unbelivable sticky
Have been running them for a while now... they seem to hold up well on the wear rate

This thread got me motivated, I'm ordering a Kenda small block 8, 1.75 for my front tire. Going with Intense micro knob in the rear. smile.gif

I've been running K-Rads on two bikes for some time and had zero issues. I soon will be trying the new small block tire, everyone has good things to say so far. I also run the Kenda with the Comp 3 tread on several bikes and also have a couple bikes with Kontacts.

Recently switched from micro knobbies to the Small Block 8`s and I love them. VERY grippy and not a rough ride.

I run them on my 20 and I love them. Very grippy and fast rolling tread. I have a 1.95 front and 1.75 rear. There's very little weight difference in 1.95 and 1.75. and 1.95 is lighter than the 2.1; which in turn is a rather light tire itself...so the xtra stability is worth it.
