Here is a 2nd Gen US '84 Sport. This is an exact replica of the bike that is in the '84 Sport ads. It took me a very long time to find some of the parts and a big thanks goes out to Jay47! Enjoy!

Hardest part to find was?
DansHaros
Everything! LOL! Tires, hands down were the hardest to find. Cheng Shin Snakebellies.
DansHaros
And from there:

NOS Victor VP-300 pedals
NOS White Z-Rims
NOS Anlun '84 Haro Sport Stem
NOS Niscount Dyna seat with the Haro logos embossed on it
Chainring and disc (Anlun)
Nickel and black TYC Chain

Everything else is somewhat common.

Dan
Hudson
I'd think the seat would be pretty hard to get in any condition....

DansHaros
It is!

typical Haro turd.

Man, I used to drool over that bike when it came out. I'm sure the pages with that ad in my Plus! mags were full of sweaty finger prints...
jay47
another stunning build Dan ,right down to the chain ,where on earth did you get that?
DitchWeed
Dans builds are always SO CLEAN!

You bringin that one to the Rock this year, Dan?
87PC
Dan both those builds are unreal...I can only imagine the money spent...
freestyl
The first time I saw that bike I was impressed. The fact that you were able to build another one just like it is even more impressive. That is one frame/fork set-up I would like to have. Only problem is, I would want it to ride. Woody.
DansHaros
Woody,

Are you referring to the Freestyler or the Sport? It is tempting to ride the Bob Haro replica, but then I think about it for a minute, and its too nice to ride its more fun to look at!

Dan

freestyl
Hey Dan, the Freestyler of course. I really liked those frames. If I could find a used one that's not show quality, but just decent. I would build it up to ride for sure. Can you tell me what the top tube length is on that frame? Thanks, Woody.

They should be fairly easy to find. They are Faun F1 grips. On ebay all the time it seems.
