I picked up a set of Levanter "Sun" 24" hoops laced to first gen GT hubs. When did Sun/Levanter start making rims? Trying to decided if I should use them to build up my '82 GT cruiser. Come to think of it, when did the firt gen GT hubs make thier appearance?
Thanks,
Frazer

I don't think Sun started making the Levanter models until the early 90's. Good rims though.

Levanters were the same as the Mistrals with out the eyelet spoke holes, and i think the cam out about the same time in the mid to late 80's. A guy i used to race had mistrals, while we were racing the Memphis indoor track at the fairgrounds, in 87. indoor only ran from Nov to March, so he could have had them in 86.
