I've had this bike for over 20 years. The paint job is the best. I think I may be selling it. What you guys think...

I think you should take that F&F and build yourself a sweet 26" cruiser out of it.

I'll tell ya, i'm heading in the 26 inch bike mode here in the next few years. My 24 even seems small sometimes... Anybody collect these bikes?
AndyT
Some people collect the old mountain bikes. I'm thinking that earlier models are the thing now... the deer head shimano stuff seems to always make people excited.
That GT is too big for me. Too bad ...I like the late 80s early 90s MTBs. Simplicity is a beautiful thing.

Not sure what I should do with it.. Just keep riding it, or just store it.. It's pretty used. I've riden this thing pretty good for almost 20 years.. I'm leaning toward, just riding it till it breaks...The forks are so laid back.. when I don't ride it for awhile I get on it, I can hardly steer.

I'm still riding this beast....not sure if I should try to sell it and ride a newer one..CHeck out the paint job...

Hey i have some forks that will fit that bike paint and all
mark miller
heres one for you. mid/late 80's fuji cadenza atb only thing not original is the tioga psycho tires

Would anybody be interested in buying the GT? It's about 20 years old.

Your frame would be too big for me.
Here's my "first" real mtb, an '88 Karakoram. Bought it from Craig Kundig at Riverside/Redlands Cyclery in the fall of '88. $583 + tax.

THey are great bikes though. I just rode it yesterday again. It's my most comfortable mountain bike.

The fact that you got 20 years of riding out of the bike says it served you well. I only had it for one year. I'm impressed it has held up that long for you. The downside is that I don't think the bike is old enough for someone to see it as collectible.

As Andy T mentioned, most of the stuff people are looking for is from 1970-1985. Your Karakoram is from 1987. That bike is bombproof.

How much were you think of asking for it? I might be interested.
King of Pipeline
I mean the bike is pretty used. I can get pics of it more if you wish.. The rims are shot...it's just the frame and fork, and bars and everything are pretty cool...
