This isn't a fishing post. Just had a 37 year old former racer turn Paster stop in the shop today. We chatted for a while about the old days and he mentioned that he still had his old Slingshot bike. He may be interested in selling. I did tell him that it is probally worth a pretty good bit but I wasn't sure. He asked if I can do some research for him and let him know. I know that without pics its hard to say and I know that nobody wants a whats it worth post. Just trying to get ballpark estimate for the former high flying racer turned high flying paster. LOL

The best part is he's thinking about getting back into riding after hanging out with us at the Shop/Skatepark today.

I saw a NOS yellow slingshot frame only listed on the Bay for $1499. Did not sell. I also saw a nicely refinished frame only "not sell for $750".

It is tough to get information on them as well. Although Slingshot is still around, they only make Mountain bikes and the new owners do not know much of the history.

Do you know what year it is? shape? Are the front tubes all round or are they square?

I also have a slingshot frame and have been trying to do research to rebuild mine. (pre-serial number with square tubes)

I will look for a thread about Slingshot that was forwarded to me a bit ago. Sorry, I am fairly new to the site and will have to figure out how to connect you!
