There is no way to distinguish a build date with serial#s on a PK. Looptails are 84 and earlier

Post a pic of the frame and fork. Depending on its configuration you can get a range of years.

I would say that with the serial number being so high, it is most likely an 84. At some point, someone put 2nd gen gray drip decals on it.

Nice repair job on the post. Talk to SERACINGMAN!!

Only one year of straight chainstays as a NON looptail. That was 85. All the looptails were straight chainstay frames, which were from 79-84.

what's going on with that drivetrain? Is that a chainring bolted to a
flight sprocket? That whole bike is kinda freakin me out.

it's a mid-school Redline spider/chainring (looks like the crank, too).

Contact Tim (SERacingman on here) or Rod Miles to do the seat tube repair.

Those are the two people that i emailed.hopefully i will get some reply.i think the cranks and the bars came off a late 80s redline.

Rod is out of state at a family funeral. Tim's busy too. Be patient. They'll get back to you. Both stand up guys.
