Finally finished my 96' Speed Series!

It originally came in ball burnished aluminium. I've had it for about 8 years now and sometime last year I thought I'd restore it. Not that it needed restoring, but the metal had lost its shine and getting it polished again would have only dulled after a couple of years.

So, I decided to paint it - hot pink. I gave the painter a swatch of fabric from our wedding and had him match it. He did a great job, put a small silver fleck through it and it looks great under the sunlight. I also had the outer rims polished and replaced most of the parts with orignal era specific ones (expect for the Comp 3 gum walls). Chromed the bars and forks and got a larger 45t sprocket for it to give it that fast look!

Added an XTR lever and DXR v-brake along with the DX pedals.

I'm so tempted to ride it, but just can't bring myself to do it. I'm sure it'll get the better of me.
