Man the list is still endless of guys that were still top 5 natl caliber- imagine a 35-39 cruiser race at south park with just 15 of us guys-a good part of you all i only raced a few times cause age overlap...
If you have a lil kid and are considering riding again come out ive been to 5 locals since oct with my 5 yr old and the bug is as strong as it was in 85 again....And yes i have bit the dust and bashed my shin hard a few weeks ago -it isnt easy gettin back up at 35, but if im healthy by south park you all are invited .Or called out -how ever you want to look at it ,the current pro riders need not apply lmao rolleyes.gif

Maybe some of thier names being in this post will direct them all here if the google themselfs ?

you wouldn't by chance be Steve Smith would that rode for Whitman's Bike Shop back in the 80's? It would be great for everyone to show up at South Park. I got back into racing 2 years ago and just turned 35 back in Oct. I'm planning on hitting South Park this year.

Yep its me ,
I seen your name as eddie combs, chris cline in the results ,looks like you hold your own -i was worried i wouldnt keep up at first cause im heafty [on a diet] hopfully i can get it done still .I raced at indy last week and natl #4 was pretty quick- i hate the random start - i thought the lights were random too but i was wrong- he only beat me a few bikes down the first straight .Im bout 75 % goin to the regional this weekend so youall say a prayer ill stay safe ill update how i did if i live thru it ..

Oh yeah i just searched this and i have a heavy heart to announce dennis dayrit passed away in 05 i cant believe it heres a link:

Good to here. I've been doing ok but jumping up in the age group has not been easy. I not going to make the trip to Indy for the regional but I know that Chris Cline is going over. I talk with Chris a lot since he got back into last year. Here is the link to my myspace page, check out the video on the 35-39 cruiser class from the State race a couple of weeks back up at the Sunbury Indoor track.

Thats cool ,you guys look pretty good but not insanely fast .That natl #4 guy -if i can get a start i think i got sum for his hizazz...
I need to start going up there the jumps are a lil smaller -my son has a hard time at dayton indoor with the big step up and long uphill rythm section on last straight he took 2nd at indy in a moto and 4th in main ...How many 5 unders do they have up there?

I'm not real sure but they have a decent amount which I would say 4-6 riders. That nat's 4 was he on a cruiser or 20". If it's cruiser I know who your talking about, he's good out of the gate.

I dont wanna name drop ,it was 24 hes fast ,gave me a reason to keep going cause he wasnt impossible -There was another rider local that was super squirly that snapped me too and i had a hard time getting around him he hogged the track like barry mcmannus. laugh.gif

My Guess for the finish would be

John Purse 1st
Todd Lyons 2nd
Galen Starlin 3rd (but only if he get's off the twinkies and on the bike) tongue.gif

No intentions to offend anyone, but get some good trash talkin between all the guys you mentioned and it will probably increase the turn-out

Galen Starlin
Just so you know----it has been 20" only. biggrin.gif

Oh-and it's open to ALL racers 30 years and older----that includes Vet Pros and they are some current AA's that are of age but they have yet to enter.
maverick
Steve-just grab a 20" and join all of us in the 35-40x class plus the 35-39 cruiser class. It's just a step down from vet anyway.

Ah-thats prolly something i shouldnt have heard ...I dont wanna break no bones .I did wreck a few weeks ago -there was a guy beating me and i was pushing it going into a turn ,he was pretty big guy [maybe 6'3 230] he came down in the turn fast and washed my front wheel before i could say[im too old for this s@#t] i made it shew ...Wasnt easy getting back up to the gate after only 17 motos seemed like i went right back up there ....
I cant believe no fat dads wanna slice and dice anymore ...cmon itll be fun who cares if galin wins ?
