My name is Gus, Im 30. I live in Texas. I currently race bikes for Haro. I also have a day job. I just decided about a month ago to start building and collecting old school bmx stuff and bikes. I am gonna try to build every year Haro or at least have a frame from each years Haro. so if you have Haro stuff to sell or give away let me know. Now to my question. I asked my rep at HARO. But he is new to Haro and bmx, he was a velodrome pro. Do any of you know what the first year Haro made a cruiser 24" , and what it was called, maybe a picture of one. Any help would be be great. thanks

Good question on the 24. I don't know when they started, but I think I still have a pair of the first gen 1" threaded cruiser forks somewhere. I'll do some digging.

that would beawesome, someone told me they started in the late 90's early 2000 , but if you have haro 1" threaded forks, that cant be right then.

I'm think very late 80's early 90's is when they started. Maybe some BMXA collector can dig up some info.

i think it was a year or two after they cam out with the group1 rs 1,2,3 models. that i know of those were their first racing F&F. i could be wrong. that around the mid-late 1980's if i remember right
