3rd Annual Rockford of the West, Saturday May 31 st, Roseville Calif.

Have finally got the go-ahead to put this event on for its 3rd year!
In the past we have put this event on during the ABAs BMX National
at Roseville's Oak Creek BMX track. This year Roseville will not be
hosting a spring national. But, after talking to the track operators...
we are going to make our own event out of Saturday may 31 st!
So pencil this in on your calendar! The show and swap is on! The
sidehack racing is on! and as we find out more... I will be posting
the info!

thanks

I'll be there. Scott, is this also a regular Race day for the track????
wagonguy
They race Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings, so I assume they will be racing that evening. We'll be racing if they are.

Glad to here that this is going to happen! I thought it was going to be a miss in 2008 because of no NorCal Nationals. I'll try to bring some bikes this year to the show!

I talked to the TO yesterday, and she said they would probably have a double pointer the day of the show. This year, I have 2 reasons to go!

Thanks to all who showed up for the 3rd Annual ROCKFORD of the WEST Vintage Show & Swap. Thanks to gas prices (I figure), turnout was 84 Bikes and only 8 hacks signed up (only 7 raced ... where was Melton?!). That was a bit down from the 130-some bikes last year and 17 hacks.
It seemed like there was definitely good QUALITY of bike over quantity.
