Looking for some help on a build.

Been searching the boards but my search fu is weak. I am building up a Mongoose 82 Two Four, need to get the bottom bracket for it. Looking to put on a Takagi 3 piece set (this is what I had on my OS mongoose) or a Sugino 3 piece crank. Not set on which one, I know they both have the tapered square bolt for the crank arm. Seen some of these for sale on ebay but not sure of what the specs. on BB should be.

What is the correct spec of the BB that I should be looking for. Getting confused with all of the Euro / American / Spanish styles. I think it takes none of these as these are cartridges. Is this a part that the local bike shop would have?

You are looking for an American BB with a square taper to fit the cranks that you decide to use.
