Did HUTCH produce more than one type of deep H stem bitd? I once had an original HUTCH deep H stem and it had a counterbore where the shaft pressed in to the aluminum base. This counterbore was required for the HUTCH stem stiffener to fully engage the stem base since the shaft bore was machined in to the base on a slight angle. I now have a questionable HUTCH stem that has no counterbore at the shaft intersection since it is pressed in 90 degrees to the aluminum stem base. Might this be a bogus reproduction? It is definitely not a Western H model base since it does not have metric threads. Please fill me in about what you might know about the original HUTCH stems. Thanks
