Hullo chums. My old man has bought this CW micro mini cruiser frame (130188858502) for my brand new baby boy, but it's just occurred to the pair of us that we don't really know what wheel size it takes. Is it a standard 20", or would it be a 24"? I'm guessing the ideal wheelset would be skinny 20"ers, right?

Also, will it take any old 1" threaded fork?

Cheers, Bob smile.gif

You bought a cruiser and cruisers by definition run a 24" wheel not a 20".

However, because it a mini cruiser, it will run 1 1/8 or 1 3/8 cruiser wheels which are actually about 22" in diameter but it is still considered a cruiser...

Wow... after all these years of messing about with old bikes, I never once realized there is a size used between 20" and 24". So to be a little more specific, what's the exact sort of wheelset I need to be tracking down for it? And I'm guessing I'm going to be needing the exact right forks?
Thanks again, Bob

If you want to be correct, you'll need CW cruiser forks... and some brand of cruiser wheels.
