Picked this up today VERY cheap. Plan on building it up as a singlespeed.

where have I been!! this is the second bike on this forum that I've never seen or heard of.

These were out of Michigan, I had an early prototype that I think had a chunk of chevy leaf spring at the hinge. Surprisingly steady bottom bracket and smoooooth ride. Could not stand the road bike they built though.

I know it is not a mountain bike but I thought I would add a picture of my Slingshot BMX to keep yours company.

That is a early one you have there. The real early ones looked just like the BMX frame that Stidds has pictures of, except it still only used one cable for the downtube. I live about 25 miles from where these were made. I have a 24" BMX cruiser frame but would love one of those real early mountain frames.
