Are there certain swap meets or shows that come to southern cali. where i could find some old school bikes?

Generally, people like to keep their sources secret, so you probably won't get any useful responses. Best bet is to be creative and hunt up your own resources, then keep 'em a secret as long as you can. If you keep your eyes open and put forth the effort, you will find stuff.

Try the thrift stores, The local metal recyclers and also the local rubbish dump....Thats where I usually find my old school bits and pieces (And ebay too).

Long beach swapmeet, they sell bikes and motorcycle parts. They have it once a month get in line before they open the gates and when they open get ready for the scramble...
