Hi everyone, I'm new on here so please be gentle.
I've just dug out a 1983 Supergoose from my parents shed and was wondering how much they sell for. It's pretty much a full bike but the bottom bracket has died. Obviously it needs to be cleaned up and does have a few, well quite a few rust spots on the chrome. A definate project for someone, not me, I moved onto mountain bikes long ago (no spitting please ohmy.gif ).
Any help would be appreciated, pics to follow in a few days. cool.gif

There are always many posts asking for the current value of the old BMX bike or part you have found, or are trying to purchase, etc.

The simple answer is we don't know.

As with anything, particularly anything old, it's value is judged by what someone will pay for it today. What one person will pay, is not necessarily what another person will pay. A simple rule of thumb is the value of your item is what you would pay for it.

Search ebay, or here on the for sale forum and you might gather a general idea as to the value of the item you possess. These values change daily, and are unique to each individual based what holds the most sentimental value to that particular person.

All it takes are two individuals going after the same item on the same day to drive the value of any particular item through the roof.

There is no Kelly Blue Book for BMX.

biggrin.gif Thanks for the help. As for what I'd pay for it, I really wouldn't know as the last time I rode a BMX was 22 years ago huh.gif I know as with everything else it comes down to who wants it more/how big the wallet is. Just look at some of the awful 'art' in some 'art' galleries. Dead things in formaldahyde(wrong spelling I know) etc. blink.gif going for ridiculous amounts of money.
I'll get it cleaned up a bit and throw it out there to see what happens. rolleyes.gif
Thanks again cool.gif
