Does anyone from Australia recognize the frame/fork bar set? I bought this from an Australian ebayer a while back and neither of us could figure out what it is. It does have a serial number on the BB: A841829. Someone also inscribed: BIG DOG below the number.

The fork is Akizu. The toptube is 22.5" inches. A sticker on the top tube basically reads: Not to be used for jumping or racing.

On the top of the downtube is a cycle shop sticker that I think reads: DI---RESIDDER'S Cycling Center Hamilton(?)

I know it's not a top of the line set but it is straight I would like to know what I'm building.

Thanks from the states and, BIG DOG if you're out there, I have your bike. James.

We think its an akisu. A guy I ride with has the same frame but 24". Good looking frame but cross between a GT and a Kuwahara!

I failed to mention this is a 24" cruiser bicycle. Akisu would make sense as the frame and fork seem to match up well. Thanks, James.

hey james,
you may have bought that bike from me.
the missing letters in the words on the sticker are - DICK TRESIDDER'S Cycling Center Hamilton, it was one of my local bikes shops back in the day.

I believe it WAS you I bought it from on the bay not long ago. It also includes a handlebar with some black grips. Well, I still have it and pretty soon it will be stripped and rechromed. I'm going to build it for my wife with clean, low to medium end parts. I'll keep you Aussies informed, James.
