I build this one out of scraps on a budget. I don't have the wealth or patience to put it together totally correctly, but I think its purty. Its a DB Harry Leary Turbo Replica/tribute/clone. I powdercoated some hubs and rims black also for it, but decided against it. The brakes would screw up the finish on the rims. I have another seat on the way. I wanna put a more interesting neck on it.

Thanx. I keep saying that I'm about done, but I think I need a few more DBs.

What frame is that? I suppose you know, but I will say anyway. I am the owner of a real 1st gen Turbo, so you can ask me questions. If I can help, I would be glad to. Initially, to me it looks like it could be a real senior pro frame?
My two cents: That looks like a true black and Originals were a candy black, but yours looks cool.
Something you could do is polish or replace the brakes as they were polished replacement stickers are readily available at retrospectbmx.com
rims and hubs were ALL originally chrome

If you have specific component brand questions, I would be happy to verify based on my own fully original Turbo.

I won't mention the cranks, but I have several Original Harry Leary owned Turbo chain rings.

Very cool bike, yours.

Question: should I put old school turbo stickers on a current black reactor?
