Dave's parents lived in my neighborhood right around the time he started working on the Homeless videos. We would always manage to get a sneak peek tape to share (unsuccessfully) among ourselves from time to time. I still remember him as the guy who made me want to learn wheelies. We would ride through the neighborhood with Dave, and he would just do all sorts of variations: one-handed, no-footed, can-can, seat-wheelies, peg wheelies. Dave went higher than anyone I had ever seen at that point, always with the boost. Last I saw him was at a CFB in cali, surprised he remembered me, we chatted a bit and I got to ride with one of my most influential riders. Dave flat out rules, god bless him.
