COWTOWN BMX BENEFIT RACE FOR MIKE LITTLE

Please join us and your fellow BMX’ers for a benefit race Sunday January 27th at Cowtown BMX.

Sign ups 1:30-2:30 with racing ASAP.
Entry fees will be $10 with all proceeds to be donated to the Little family.
For those of you who don’t know Mike he is a board member at Metroplex BMX, he also serves as one of their announcers. Mike has two daughters that race for T&L Metro Bikes as well.
A couple of weeks ago Mike was severely injured while riding trails and is currently in the hospital and is expected to be there for some time with at least 6 – 8 weeks of rehab.
This race is open to all riders regardless of membership. ( We will do one day memberships for any non ABA members who would like to race.)
Awards will be ribbons only as we would like to donate as much as possible to the Little family. We will also be doing a 50/50 drawing to raise even more funds and collecting donations as well.

Got this update from Jenn yesterday and wanted to forward out.



Mike is doing well! He has movement in his left leg and is able to pull
it
towards him with gravity which is really good. He still cannot move the
right arm, which is a concern as the longer is does not move the longer
it
will take to get it back in motion. He still does not have any hand
movement in the left arm, but I am sure that will come with time.

We are very positive and with the power for prayer and the out cry of
support, I am sure that one day, he will make a full recovery.

Again, thanks for all you are doing it means a lot, and I cannot thank
you
enough!!! But know that if the role was reversed we would be doing the
same.

And to top it off we raised $1504 for the Little Family

Thanks to everyone who came out the race. Things went a little slow at times due to our inexperience but we loved having everyone there and it truley was an awesome day.
