I am having a friend send me a used one of these soon dirt cheap just on a "polishing a newer S&M race stem for him trade", but still even after seeing this auction I WILL NEVER SELL THE ONE I AM GETTING. haha...it will be another piece to the puzzle for my ultimate dream build, an early S&M XL Challenger. Well two challengers actually if they made the challenger 1" threaded way back...? haha
I actually have mixed feelings on seeing this auction going so high. On one hand I don't like the fact that I will never be able to buy an NOS Challenger stem on the bay cuz I WOULD NEVER go over $80 for one... but over that really, I am glad to see such a nice example/item of my favorite BMX brand being honored at a high value.

Wow. I think that's the most I've seen a threadless stem go for.

i sure could use one for my newer mid school.. possible closer to new school challenger....
but i will just get a redneck or xlt......

I think challenger/race stems look mean inverted. I know thats a cruiser though.
