Can't find my circa 84" Mongoose Californian so I will begin the hunt for someone elses that I can re-store.........I see a few out there for sale and would love to grab one in really good shape but most seem to need some tlc and some parts to be original ......I am a fanatic about wanting it original.........my question is if there is a place or source to get vintage parts for a Mongoose..........sorry for being such a novice but this will be my first of hopefully a few bikes I would like to re-build.........

I would also like to know if there is some sort of parts breakdown or description for these vintage bikes.......I am posting a pic from BMXMuseum.com that looks to be identical to my old bike...............thanks again guys......................John......
