I dont remember these what years were they out.
Chris P
Came out in 95. Made for a very short period and cannondale bought the rights to them. Called Coda 900's. Came on the top of the line bikes in 95 through late 96 early 97. The design and spindle were a brake through in the bicycle market. It took shimano 4 years to catch up.

Chris, I was lookin thru some old MBA mags today found photos there. now I remember them. They were pretty kool lookin but I remember problems with them spliting in half long ways.
trickstar
I have a set on my Cannondale hardtail from 1995 +/-. Never had any problems with them. I will try to get some pictures and post them.

They are on par with JAD cranks as far as availability. The earlier ones were recalled. Like you said, they split length wise. They did eventually fix the problem though.

They Sweetwings cranks above were also ahead of their time in incorporating the BB into the cranks.

I broke a few set's of those, as well as the Sweet Wings, and the Grafton Joystix.

I never broke my Tioga Revolvers, nor the Bullseye's.

I have a set of Toplines w/ a avid Micro adapter. I could run four chainrings if I wanted to. They seem pretty rare.
