The seat is a survivor that I picked up on the Museum. Soft scrubbed it and steel wooled the rails.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It really is a great feeling to have my original bike back and finally restored. I actually talk to it sometimes about all the good times we had together BITD Crazy, I know.

Nice post and story of your GT project... I mostly don't have the patience for Project bikes and just buy complete good condition bikes off ebay. But sometimes I get ebay rip offs like when I bought my Street Beat the rear Skyway Mag was shot so I bought a Skyway axle rebuild kit to fix it -- seller ripped me off on this.
