On a different note, I heard you may know a thing or two about Sling-shot in the early days. I have a pre-serial frame with the square top tube runners. Looking for guidance on paint schemes. I was told by Gordy from Freewheeler that Sling shot used what ever color was on sale that week! any additional help! anyone?

I raced Plainwell BITD along with most tracks in lower Michigan. I remember watching (you)Scott Towne destroy the W. Mich scene along with Kevin Nowak and his oversized cardbord pizza box number plate! Time has passed, memories have faded. . . and I was 9, but that is what I remember!
