Mine is not really a restoration or a recreation, but more of a preservation. This Bike has been in my possession and stored inside my house since the last day I raced it in 1991 at the NBL Christmas Classic. All of the parts are the exact same that I raced that day, 16 years ago. After that I retired from racing (the first time).
1990 Elf Pro XL 20”, Serial # 390133. The bike is basically all black except the stem, hubs, and pedals. The cranks, chainwheel, and handle bars were painted black back in the late 80’s. Here is a list of everything on the bike.

Frame- Elf Pro XL (Double Thick Rear Dropouts),
Forks- Elf Pro (unique Offset design, this is the first year Elf made forks like this),
Bars- Boss Pro 8” rise (painted Black still chrome underneath),
Grips- A’me rounds,
Stem- DK Pro XL,
Headset- Tioga (black),
Brake Lever- Dia Compe (one stage earlier than Tech 77 Left hand turned upside down),
Brakes- Dia Compe MX-1000,
Brake Pads- Skyway Tuff pad II’s,
Seat- Kashimax Aero (almost brand new),
Seat Post- Elf z-post,
Seat Clamp- Hutch Round (not the cheap ones that narrowed at the front),
Cranks- 1986 Redline Flight Cranks (painted black, these were made before you could get painted Flights I think),
Bottom Bracket- Redline regular unsealed, packed with Phil Wood Grease,
Pedals- SR beartraps with Urchin pedal cages,
Chainring- Redline Flight 45T (painted black),
Chain- Sedis Sport 3/32,
Freewheel-Suntour 16T chrome,
Rims- Araya 7X black 20x1.50,
Hubs- Sunshine Sealed,
Spokes-Black 14G,
Tires-Tioga Comp III’s (sidewalls colored in with a permanent marker, they did not make black walls back then).
Pads- Solid Black Flite Pads
Plate- Zeronine Moto Control
