does anyone have a number of these built??? i was told real low production on these and only 20 inchers.i have seen bars and posts in this finish and only seen a few in person.this was the only one that went through my local bike shop.it is almost the way it was original,it had vector bars and sugino gt cranks.the finish on mine is worn as are the decals, the worst spot is covered by the frame pad.how many members have one????

MCAM will probably have an idea. PM him.

They are really rare. No idea on numbers, but then again not sure anyone here will really know that answer. Its an 83 model (via Nora cup decal) and that's the same year my buddy bought his. Stunning bike and I wish I had got that instead of chrome...again.
I had 5 chrome GT's. Painted versions were cool too, but the BC was above the rest in appearance. Nice find!

Late 82 into 83 they did them. As far as I know, they did the Pro Frame, Expert frame and the 24 in black chrome. Not sure about the junior. you are right though, they did the bars and seat posts in black chrome as well.

I have no idea on production numbers, but not many have survived sad.gif

the bike my friend had went to another friend and it got painted orange mellow.gif . If I could find it, I could fix that in 20 minutes. Sad, but the mid 80's, there was big change.
