Hey Ya'll, I just got this CW from my team mate Randy (big mac). He did not want it so....
anyway can you help me date and figure out the model. the serial number is ZXL410 or maybe 19 its kinda worn. It also has an os redline brute stem and I think hutch bars. at least the bars have a hutch sticker on them and look like os hutch bars to me. the rims are the old Araya with holes it them. the hubs are a cool dark anadized smoke color suzues. I hope the pics come out ok. thanks ryan

thanks again r

judging by the cw/revcore website....that is a 1983 cw zxl which is longer than the zx pro. looks to me like a very nice score.

Yeah, cool score.
I raced on one these frames in 1983/84. It was the biggest/longest frame at the time, boasting its' 19.5" top tube if my memory is correct. It was later replaced by the Pistol Pete. Restore it and ride it.
Nice additional score with Hutch bars and headlock, Redline stem.

even for back then, though, that 19.5" is decieving.

with the laid-back seat tube angle CW used, those ZXLs are really only about the size of, for example, a Hutch expert huh.gif (measuring the "rider area"...the distance between a vertical line thru the BB and a vert line thru the head tube).
