I have a question about STR Bars, are they ALWAYS stamped?

I think they have, "STR Series" on one side (right) and "REDLINE" on the other (left).

Please share your knowledge, experience, pics or ad scans. I have a nice set of chrome V-bars and wonder if they could be "STR" with out stamping.

Thanks!

How wide are they ? Do they say " REDLINE " anywhere ?

Any pics ?

28" wide x 9" rise.

They don't say "REDLINE" anywhere. In fact they don't have any stamping.

I don't have a pic right now. I'm putting the kids to bed wink.gif

yup -- always stamped

if they aren't stamped yet appear to be str ---- they may be Kuwie bars (like on the E.T. bike) --- they are pro sized and the same dimensions, basically the same bar as they were produced from the same factory --- redline just had everything stamped to distinguish they're product from the others and charge redline prices

I agree, as I was talking to a fellow member about this. My take is this , even though this was 20 years ago either Redline said were paying Stu Thomsen good money to use his name so EVERY set of STR bars BETTER have the STR logo stamped on it since we paid for the rights to use his name or maybe Stu got paid a percentage for every that Redline used his STR logo he said every bar leaving the factory should have STR stamped so he gets his cut.

Just my opinion.

By the way I have a set of straight cross bar STR bars and they are stamp with both "Redline" one one side and "STR series" on the other. If anybody wants to trade the STR V bars for my straight, let me know.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm building a couple RL-20 Prostyler's. I have STR straight bars on the way and thought I had STR V-bars on the way but when they arrived without stamping I figured I had a problem.
