problems with Angelasdad

great I did not see that before. I sent him several emails in a very friendly tone just asking to find out what is going on. Seems like this is a pattern for this guy. I paid december 3rd so it may not have been delivered yet, in transit, but for like 3 or 4 days I have been trying just to get an email back with an update or if he sent it whatever and nothing. The last email I sent him was basically you have 24 hours to respond or pp dispute will be opened. That has been done now, and I was very apologetic for me opening it but he left me no choice.

Did he ever make good for the others? And if this was a problem before why can he still post in the for sale section. Seems like people should be banned for shenanigans like this, if in fact he didnt make good.

PEP
Very unlike Jim. I'm waiting on some stuff also, but I've never know him to not come through at all. Hell, I've met him and his wife before to do some deals face to face.

In case the public wants to know, I've sent refunds to both pep and will ($26 and $16)....I'm not too sure where their items are, both were shipped with several other items last thursday. I'll try to dig up tracking info, but I think I sent them 1st class usps. Other people have confirmed they recieved their items already.......

To explain my "track record" in the last year, because it seems to keep coming up. I've had some bad luck with the post office and simply had too much going on and lost track of some things. The other members that had issues with me received refunds once it became apparent their items were lost(at a loss to myself), or I simply lost track of the order. I apoligized over and over again, not sure what else I can do.

It amazes me that everyone is quick to put a negative post up (I'm not denying that I deserved it) , but simply refuses to put up that it was resolved, so now I have a label as a scammer...

I've been on this site since it was born, I've seen members come and go, I've met dozens of members, helped dozens in my store (which I am no longer employed at, so please don't call me at the bike store!), supported BMX in this dying market, been to the Rock, invited several over to my home, sold countless items over the years, $1000s of dollars worth of bikes and parts, with no issues, given items away to members in need, gave advice when asked for it, and I have to live with a label on this site, basically forever, because of a few items that were resolved as soon as it was possible. I fully admit that maybe I'm not the fastest shipper, and that I have a lot to tend to with LIFE and should keep track of things a little better, but I do believe if anyone knows me they know I'm not a scammer or liar and out to take someones money......

Let the slams begin I guess, I just wanted to get that off my chest...

I get busy when mailing things out as well but these guys are saying that they repeatedly sent you emails and had not heard back. If you are selling things on ebay, regardless of how many people know you out there, you should at least send a one sentence email to them stating that you are working on it and acknowledge them. I can see their frustration. I would be more mad at you about not communicating, than not receiving the part all together. Not flaming, just my .02. smile.gif
spike
If you sell items you are obligated to answer any communication regarding the item you sold to the buyer, it's common curtiousy and just good business. I'd be mad too.....it takes less time to answer a question than to make up an explanation. When you don't answer guys feel like you are ripping them off.
Williwoods
exactly, Jim all I was asking for was an email from you letting me know where things are. I have a real hard time believing that soooo many items are getting lost over and over again with usps for you, I mean if that was true why send it with usps again? Plus it may very well be that its not lost and is going to be delivered, if you had sent me a " shipped your item on thursday" email then this post would never have started. It took 4 emails and a paypal dispute to get you to answer. No one wants to slam you or give you a bad reputation, we would rather things would go as they should and everyone stays happy. I appreciate the refund but I would rather have the item. You say they were shipped last thursday but sound a little unsure..........how would you not know..........Why would you refund me if the item was shipped? I just dont get this at all, very frustrating. And like has been said above, im more upset about the lack of communication then not receiving the item. So I guess if I do get the item next week I'll repay you all over again. Not a good way to conduct these kind or transactions.

Another thing that is lame, guys who claim "life" issues or "I have so much stuff going on", a very small fraction of that may be true but if you have the time to list the items where ever it's listed I'm sure you can squeeze out some time to complete the transaction. If "life" or whatever has you so busy maybe you should spend the time you're wasting selling then not completing the transaction and the "but, but, but......" on "life" instead of messing up other guys lives.

It's like lying.....it takes a few seconds to tell the truth, the lie goes on forever.......

Very well said, Spike and Wilwood.
