Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice/ opinions on what cranks to use on a pre-serial number Hutch cruiser. My first choice right now are some Cooks Products 181 mm cranks, but I'm not sure if these would be era correct. My next choice is full wrap single pince bolt 401's. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Definately, but I don't have deep pockets. I'm willing to make a trade though if anyone has some extra's laying around.

Thanks. I suppose if that's what Sir Henderson ran untill the Aerospeeds came out then that should work for me.

Toby only ran Aerospeeds in some test shoots, he ALWAYS raced with 401's. he told me he valued his life to much to run Aerospeeds. he was afraid of them. TJ also started doing the same in races.

Thanks 3rd Gear. Maybe you could help me out with this dilemma? I have what I beleive to be a very early MCS made Hutch cruiser f/f, possibly even prototype? It has the MCS gusset/plate behind the seattube. The fork tubes have a different bend to them than my later Hutch cruiser forks(not as U shaped). There is no serial number and the finish is O.G. chrome though definately not triple plated show chrome, more of a industrial grade chrome. The welds are beautiful like the rest of my Hutch's. Anyhow, I can't decide to build this cruiser how I want to ride it, or make it a Toby Henderson prototype(BMX Plus) replica? I'll post photo's as soon as I can. Thanks in advance for your input, or anyone else's for that matter.

they made a total of 50 total with the MCS gusset and 25 of those had the different bend forks. and sorry the pro type is already sitting in my bonus room. The man who rode it confirmed it. I had two of that model at one time and even the difference in those are astounding.
