Getting old now @ 49 and BMX was a bit after my time. But I'm making up for lost time now. I have to say embarassingly so that I cannot perform a single trick and that I'd probably break my neck if I went over a bump too fast...

When I get some time to myself (I work a lot) I'll have to try some 'proper' riding even if I am crap.

I have however at least collected some decent bikes over the last couple of years...

Mate, I'm the same - there's no way I'm doing tricks or jumps too
It's a great community here - lots of great people and info.
Are you building anything at the moment?

Its a 2007 retro ripper, so I'm afraid a bit of a pretender and standard cranks. I just so wanted a ripper and it seemed the only way I could get one. No builds going on at the moment as space is running short
But I am waiting for the 2008 retro ripper in bitching black and gold to ship so I can buy one.

I have a 2006 Haro old school sport in its box unbuilt waiting for some race tyres and bits, so I can try out a bit of racing in the new year. As I have a spare pair of spoked wheels from the other sport in the pics I thought I could swap wheels between race and freestyle tyres so I could try the skatepark as well...

I wont kill myself though hopefully and I hope it will be a lot of fun even if i do get the occasional bruise and knock.
