Is it dated by the stamp on the tube side? - I can't figure it out.........

I have checked all my 7x's and none of them have any stamping on them, have you got a stamp on yours?

they all have stamping on the tube side - very faint
example - 23 01 18
it runs in line with the holes

Just had another look...and found a very very faint...23 08 18..that is on a blue 20x1.75 7X, the other matching rim is 23 06 24 ....Interesting, never noticed it before...would be nice to decode it!

Hello,
Those look like Japanese dates. They write dates like this:
The first two numbers are the year. Alot of times the Japanese use a different numbering system for the year. Sorry I really don't know how their year count works. All I know is this year is 18.
The second pair are the month.
The third pair is the day.
I'm not too sure. This is just a guess.
