Okay...this may seem like a weird topic but I had this dream the other night that I was a passenger in a van driving down a rural road when I saw a blue cruiser coming up in into view. As I came closer I saw the word "HUTCH" on a handlebar pad and got way excited!!! I yelled to the driver to STOP!!!!!!! I got out, and there taped to the bike was every VBMXER's favorite note to see. It was a piece of paper that said simply: "Free" I was out of my mind!!!!!!!! Apon inspection of the bike, it looked like a trials bike that had a rear dropout made for a multiple speed rear wheel. There was a V-bar Hutch pad smooshed onto a straight bar set of bars and it had pretty awsome components from what I remember. I couldn't believe it!!! I was so excited to have found a Hutch "cruiser" but disappointed it wasn't like an XL 24 or something. Then I woke up. Do any of you have these type of "Bmx dreams?" I RARELY dream and wake up to remember it...but this was so vivid. I just thought it might be "topic worthy."

Like my post in the other thread^^^, I end up back in Crystal Lake, riding my old bikes around at night. And I'll go session a skatepark that's here in FL, but in the dream it's up in IL near my old house. I've had the similar dream a few times.

Other times it won't be riding as much as just I'm back to that time and place and even SEE some bikes, among other stuff like skateboards, model cars I'd built BITD and the clothes I used to wear.

Started dreaming about racing in the 70's. I had dreams for a few weeks about racing and riding. I thought it was really wierd. Then I started missing my childhood riding and racing days. I'm on Ebay everyday since I am building a 54 ford F100. So I started checking out BMX stuff. Then I saw an Ebay auction for some repo mongoose decals that were from VintageBMX. That led me here. I have since picked up two frames one Team mongoose and one Team Jag.......and the sickness begins!

I used to have nightmares about getting to practice late or missing the gate drop, I would wake up sweating and damn neer crying. This was when I was a kid racing BMX( 8 yrs old ). This went on forever.

To this day I still have the same nightmares, only now its MX practice and missed motos (37 yrs old)

Not all the time just regular enough.

My dream is just to finish some of the projects that I mysteriously start/purchase, but never complete (aaargh)

I used to have a dream BITD about making a BMX movie... And the only thing that kept flashing in my head was the opening of my movie.

It was a slow motion shot of a gate full of riders blasting down a the first straight with music from the Warriors movie when they were on the train getting back home...

Thats it, the same clip over and over again every night!
