Full Version: Did*hutch* Make A Titanium Donut Clamp?

Just got a old bike today. It had what appeared to be a hutch donut clamp. When I took it off i thought it was a copy. I tried to clean it and it cleaned to dull grey. Then I compaired it to another donut clamp and could'nt believe it. It was half the wieght. So, i believe it is titanium. Sorry no pic. The file was to big and would'nt load. If anyone could advise. Much Thanks.......MoToDoG!

Yes, Hutch did make a titanium clamp.

If you look to see what normal clamps are going for, you will be surprised and the fact that yours is Ti (I had never heard of this), means you have a small treasure. I'll bet it would bring over $200.00

no, they did not make a titanium clamp.

besides the regular aluminum ones, they made a magnesium version, though.


( a Ti clamp would actually be heavier than aluminum, anyway)
