I am building a Redline , it's a Pro Line or PL20 style F&F with the 5" headtube and tapered forks. It's not going to be a Stu Thomsen replica but more like a Stu inspired build. Now the 2 issues I am contimplating are, I know that the Redline "STR" bars came in a straight bar as well as V bar. What style did Stu use ? I want to say/think the V bar, but they were always hidden behind the number plate. Lastly, I somehow remeber Suntour being tied in with Redline somehow. So should this bike have Suntour Hubs? My other two choices would be Susue hubs or Campy hubs, both are good hubs and were both hubs Stu might have used at one point while on Redline. I know all this is just preferance, just looking for some and any input.
