just added this stem on my DG today, turned out great.

Thats alot of work to make it look that way. I did one myself and probably won`t do another one. Maybe yours was originally in great shape but mine was realy rough.

Very cool bike. I dig those bars!
I would just swap out the pedals to something more era correct.

pedals are gone and put these on instead, along with a set of maxy cross cranks.
