How do you tell the year on Patterson frames?
I have one I am going to be listing on evil bay and would like to the list the wright info.
serial# 8830406 with a P in front of the drop out.

That is an August 1983 PR200 Pro frame.
8 = August
83 = year
0406 = frame number
P = Pro

I actually bought this off evilbay as a F&F Badd Inc. and just needed the fork for another Badd project. So now I have the wrong fork on the Badd too late its powdered now! As I looked further into this frame that didnt look like a Badd I came to realize its a patterson. After looking on evil bay it seems to be worth more than a Badd and more than I payed for it! SCORE!
