Does anyone know the year?

'93ish. The fully welded all aluminum frame came out in 1992, but I'm thinking that was the Lime green colored model.
1990-1991 was the Alien ACX, aluminum/cro-moly combo frame. The full aluminum frame was much stronger than the combo frame, which was prone to cracking and breaking, especially the rear triangle at the dropouts. I had two BITD, sold one, the other slowly disintegrated over time. Bought a third frame a few years ago, put all my left over original components on it. It's strictly for asphalt use now, as the frame does have some cracks in the seatpost. I've chosen to delay fixing them, because I would like to leave the paint original for as long as possible.

Hello, I'm interested in the Nishiki bike - I used to own one years ago... Can you pm me with details if you intend to sell?

Cheers,

I used to have one of those Red Alien's with the Cro-Mo back section. I sold it and bought the Haro Team Extreme in Neon Yellow, I still have that bike in my Garage.

Here is my Nishiki Ariel. This is all steel frame w/Deore DX components and orig cherry Araya rims. Ive had this bike since around 89 when the bike was orig pearl white, then stripped and repainted in Porsche Raspberry with lighter/darker raspberry spatter. If any interest in this bike, PM me or post here. My garage could sure use the room.
