I've been collecting for a while, not too long but in the short time I've collected some rather nice stuff. Anyhow, I think the time has come to move on and clear out some space and move on to another hobby. When is the best time and the worst times to sell off some of my stuff. I've tried to put some of my road bikes as well as some mid school stuff on Craigslist and don't even get a phone call, so I gather this time of the yr is not good. Should I sell in spring? Give me some time to think it over? Whats your opinion?

before christmas is slow due to the shopping season for family.
tax time seems to really flare the prices as folks have money to burn from the tax returns.
really good pics and rare name brands are always good sellers.
BIN if you know the exact street value on classic stuff. like watch how fast ANY cook item goes on a BIN, even if the price is over street value. gotta have it, you know!

Post it here, on VBMX, asking for offers. When someone wants something bad enough, it really doesn't matter what time of year it is.

Middle of Jan until Rockford in June is the hottest time on Ebay for BMX stuff. Summer brings family vacations and back to school expenses. Fall brings thoughts of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tax time is in Jan so then is the time to sell on Ebay.
Like Crisco said. Post the stuff here. You have the attention of 10,000 plus members who love this hobby.

Before Christmas is a buyers market. The good stuff seems to work it's way out.
Even the last few weeks have brought out some cool stuff...more than I could keep track of...Matthews everywhere, a Redline Squareback, DG stuff, a couple of Webcos...
