FMF bars, Non-Stamped Tuff Wheels, Roger Decoster Fork, Early Takagi crankset with Takagai alloy sprocket, good condition KKTs, not to mention a good early cr-mo Schwinn Frame.

Thanks to Ben Joy for the tip. I had to think about it for a while. Did not want to ruin my reputation as a bottom feeder. So I ratinalized that I would get the wheels for a friend. Turns out, he doesn't need them so I guess I just have to use them myself Forks will go on my Decoster, bars on my FMF and the rest for some tricked out Hillage build or something

do the forks have a Decoster sticker? is there a diffrence between team and Decoster?

the more i look at that bike i think i would just clean it and put the grips back on it. it's great how it is.

The Tuffs are calling out to me.......maybe in trade for some KKT lightnings, an old Sugino stem, gold ano V-bars?

DeCoster forks and Team were the same. Later Team forks had the HT piece machined thinner with a lip below the bearign race. Just like early to later Redline forks did.

My brother and I were contemplating buying that. I think it's well worth the $150 and then some. Those frames are indestructable. We used to race on those frames for a while for Mira Mesa Schwinn BITD. Well I'm glad that you got the bike. As I always say, "Snooze You Lose!". I should have bought it! DOH! Another really nice Schwinn actually just went for around $150 that I let get away. I don't think it was listed right. Check it out, Tuff 1's, Redline bars, Redline Stem, nice chrome Schwinn frame ALL FOR $158! :
