Full Version: 26" Mongoose Motomag
VintageBMX.com > VintageBMX Talk > Vintage BMX Racing
Kurt.
Picked up these three at a Saturday morning Scout "Yankee Auction" today.

The cruiser is an Australian "Cyclops" with more than a passing resemblance to a mid 70's Motomag - check out the BB gusset, dropouts etc. I plan to make it a rider for my wife.

I'm really happy with the Redline too - I suspect it's a restickered '81 MX11 (the serial starts with RA) and the chrome is in great condition.

Serial E2C17088. Check out the chainring too - under the chainguard that's a genuine 46T Sugino snowflake sprocket!

Hey Richard - it reads "Cyclops" with a southern cross under it. Cyclops are an old Australian company, made bikes etc since the early 1900s. Their old pedal cars are quite desirable nowadays too.

Yeah Glenn - that retro 26" Team Goose is mind blowing. I've got some well advanced plans for this...
