Used some of those redline made older style torker frame decals. I didn't know exactly how to place them. The one would kill for a headtube badge but it's too big. Now my friend's gotta start flipping me some cash so I can build it up for him. He is just going to use it for small bike rides around town with his kids once in a while. Well he better dammit, if he doesn't keep this in good condition I will find some other cruiser and get this one from him. This was a lot of work. You should have seen this frame, it was all scratches(some pretty deep) and deep divots when he bought it from another friend of ours here in town for $50. He handed it right over to me to make pretty. I'm getting pretty popular in town for polishing, this is the fourth aluminum frame I have brought back from the dead in the past two years around here. The powerlite coqpit frame I did last year was a nightmare.

Wow, that is going to make an awesome retro, I can't wait to see the finished product. Imagine a retro made up to resemble Bob Haro's Freestyle Torker, that would be so sweet.

cool. cool.gif i've thought about doing that many times since those frames first came out.

FYI the headtube decals were always too big. they overlap the gusset even on the old '70s/80s frames (would be worse, though, on the AL frames).

That one looks good! cool.gif These are by far some of my favorite frames. I currently have a black 24" with yellow parts & have been looking for a matching 20" for my son. I'd post a pic but I'm not that computer savvy yet. sad.gif
