Thanks, the CYC has a few good parts including the Brute, Redline forks, Tuff 1's....but my favorite thing on it is the ultra old Skyway prism decal on the seat-tube. Other bike is a Raleigh MX Moto-bike in original condition...scratches but complete. Chris

was the seat put on so that the seller felt it was ready to sell, to ride or did they actually ride it like that?
I'm interested because I know that as I get older, the har plastic gets harder each year.
But it would seem odd to be riding it like that.

The seller claimed that the ol Shotgun simply fell apart from age. He had this seat sitting around an put it on....whether to make it complete or to ride I wouldn't know. Chris

Here is some other junk I found in the trash recently....

.....These 3 bikes are incredible. They all seem to be sent to me in a time machine...complete...intact. Too bad they are not higher end stuff. DiamondBack Viper, 76 Team Murray, Ross Piranha. Sorry bout the crappy pics.
Thanks, Chris

TnTMan you are missing the point. We all know which bikes are worth something. These bikes were found in the garbage....me driving along the road...not paid for. They are certainly worth giving to some young person. Perhaps there is a certain collector out there who had this as his first bike....wants it back. Granted it is not my cup of tea as far as preferance. I am the type of bike person who would not leave it to the recycler.
Thanks for responding though, Chris

Is that OG rubber on the DB?
Crazy, it looks like it came out of the dept. store right to someones carport to live for the last 20+ years.
Great saves.

Thanks for the positive remarks on the D-Back. Original down to the pads(even the tires) the only missing pieces seem to be the chain-guard an the front reflector is broken. Thanks, Chris
